Just don't cook with splenda: while it's stability in the human metabolism is questionable (most gets pissed out I s'pect) it is a halogenated hydrocarbon of the sort that breaks down and form strange new ones under temperature, especially in the presence of mixed, complex, hydrocarbs and proteins like in food. I can't stand any artificial sweeter. The all have a bitter after taste. Splenda wasn't too bad until I put some in my hot coffee. It was horrible! /dan
