An interesting fact brought out by 60 Minutes years ago was that all
but one of the sponsors of the law that made forced bussing possible
sent their children to private schools and were not effected by
the law.
When asked why they did this, the Congressmen said they were doing what
they thought was best for their children. So the "white flight"
parents are only following the example set by the creators of
the forced bussing law.
