What you actually get is a connection to the web cache server. Your connection is intercepted by Bellsouth's router and forwarded to the cache server, which then tries to connect to 10.0.0.138. You have to create manual arp and route entries to get to the modem directly. The manual describes how to do that but it only works for ABAA models and Bellsouth most often still has AAAA models, like mine. Bad Luck.
