Yep, routing table work is next for me....funny that telnet doesn't
get whacked. I did disconnect the line cable from the modem and tried
http again, but it didn't work.

Thanks for the lead. And thanks for confirming the old/new modem
reports. I have the ABAA model, but that's not marked on the unit,
only the cardboard box.

Post what your man says about the routes if it wouldn't be too much
trouble. No info about this in my manual.
