 Excellent.  I have tested restoring files, filesystems, dirctories
and
just about any other combination I could think of. I didn't bother
with /dev because those are easier to rebuild then restore. 
 I could go into more detail on the particulars of restoring the /nsr
directories but you would need a little knowledge of NetWorker to
understand what was going on. So without going into the nitty gritty
let me say it beat the heck out of restoring from a Dump tape, a tar
archive, and a BRU tape. The restore speed is also very fast due to
the
method NetWorker uses to write the data to tape.
 I'm starting to sound/feel almost religious about this but the fact 
is it makes my job MUCH easier and my users are very pleased with
the tool as well.
