Colonial Moving & Storage -- Your Experiences?

I experienced serious problems when using Colonial Moving & Storage (of
Pawtucket, RI), and apparently I'm not the only one. These go beyond
the usual mover problems of minor furniture damage and such.

Attempts to resolve the matter privately have been frustrating and
unsuccessful, and it is not clear to me that Colonial Moving & Storage
is dealing in good faith.

IF YOU HAVE USED COLONIAL MOVING & STORAGE, OR OTHERWISE HAVE
INFORMATION ABOUT THEM, PLEASE E-MAIL NWV@ACM.ORG WITH DETAILS.

The information will be used when I discuss the matter with the BBB, the
Attorney General's office, and a private lawyer. I am also considering
a class-action lawsuit and possibly filing criminal charges.

Note that I and at least one other person may be speaking with local
news media, but I will not divulge your name or other identifying
information to reporters without your explicit permission.

Once the matter with Colonial Moving & Storage is resolved, I will post
details to the newsgroups and perhaps establish a consumer advisory Web
site on Colonial.

I sincerely appreciate any information you can provide on Colonial.
