Quite bizarre. Now, I have no use at all for the Shrub as is manifest
in a lot of my postings, but this is evidence of thought for which I
truly have contempt. This demonstrates genuine lack of reason and
factual basis.

First, stipulate that Bin Laden was responsible for 9/11 (which I do).
It is fairly well known that he has practically no use for Arafat
specifically or the Palestinians in general. True, Palestine was his
third complaint used as his sick justification for the attacks, but
all coverage of him I have ever seen (and I will leave it to you to
type his name in Google and find some of his rants) reveals that it
was a distant third and thrown in more to appease the Arab street than
for any particular idological reason. His real complaint was the
Americans being on Saudi soil, allegedly holy soil. His second
complaint dealt with Muslim wars in places such as Chechnya. Notice,
those were all elevated over the plight of Palestine separated out as
the third complaint. Only once general Arab revulsion regarding Sharon
and Israel reached fever pitch did he elevate the Jews and Palestine
in his rhetoric, being smart enough to latch onto a good thing from
his perspective.

Calling the Shrub a liar or incompetent is manifestly justified.
Calling him a traitor is something else entirely, and the word traitor
is a much higher indictment and should not be thrown around lightly,
as this does while positing not to. Traitor demands proof not supplied
by the posting or article, and, in fact, the proofs offered are easy
to refute on their face.

I call on the poster and author to retract their accusation of George
W. Bush being a traitor.
