I worked for the federal government for 31 years. In the mid-1970s, I was tested on my knowledge of french, and was told that it was good enough for the performance of my duties at that time. I know french better now than I did back then. The day I was tested, one man who had been asked to write the test said that he had been requesting french language training, but was never receiving anything but more tests. My name went onto a waiting list for more advanced training program that was available, but nothing ever happened with that. Is it all the fault of the English speakers if they aren't all bilingual? I don't think so. Deep Blue wrote: > Well, it's all your fault, english people!
