 YD> ???

YD> You are misinformed, My children are now in english shool, I personaly
YD> NEVER attended english school but my wife did. All that was required is
YD> that she bring a proof that she attended at least one full year in
YD> english elementary school when we went to register my child.

This may be true the majority of friends I know that are from N.D.G. area that
have children and were taught in the English school system, they had problems
to get their children into the English school system. See there schools now
are no longer English establishments and when they try to get any proof that
they were taught in the English school system they are told they have no
records leaving them with no proof.
In these cases this is not fair. Not everyone keeps old report cards and
things. I was lucky I kept my letter of elegibility with me like gold. I
received it just after graduating from highschool. But not everyone received
one. they only started to give them out in 1977. I know for a fact Ron never
received his. So if I didn't have mine it was going to be trouble to get one.
This was also told by me at the time I went to register my daughter in
school.

YD> Perhaps less propaganda and more truth is what we need Hmmm?

 SP> Hardly a demonstration of open-mindedness and tolerance! :-(
 YD>
YD> The only demonstration here is your wilingness to believe anything said
YD> to you. As I said, that is simply NOT the case and I have here my child
YD> as a living proof of that.

You were lucky your wife had no problems with your children but the problems
do exist. I have people I know that do have the problems. They were raised
here in Quebec and went to school here in English but the government still
wishes to give them problems with their children going to English schools.
Also alot of people don't have their letter of elegibility, their parents had
them but they either got lost thrown away or misplaced. The government
doesn't issue you new ones just like that it takes a while and alot of
aggravating yelling sometimes to get through to them.
Till later...............
