You could ask him what to do about the starving masses, but he'd probably tell you to let them eat cake. ->Ah yes! And those who have the capability to remain chaste fail to breed to ->pass on that trait! And in a few generations, the capability has utterly ->vanished from the species! Just like the passenger pigeon, the chaste will ->vanish and what will be left in their place will be stupid humans that can't ->keep it in their pants, who will have been, while the chaste eliminated ->themselves from the gene-pool, bred like freakin' rats. That's exactly what we have today. Religion did actually serve a purpose at one time. Limiting sexual activity to marriage meant that sex had a consequence: another mouth to feed. In our "enlightened" wham/bam/thankyouma'am society which has disregarded the marriage requirement, the mouth to feed is only a consequence to one. How many dead-beat dads have left single mothers to fend for themselves? Not that I'm a proponent of religion as a means to brainwash or scare people into more sustainable behavior... I prefer education, but you can only lead a sheep to water. ->Oh, and don't forget, since the intelligentsia are always steered into a ->celibate priesthood, the fastbreeding chasteness-incapables will also be a ->little bit short on inherent intelligence. ->Is that what you _really_ want? Too late. It's already here. -DanD -- # Dan D (kd4igw) dand@rmii.com dand@frottage.com http://rmii.com/~dand # The first rule of intelligent tinkering is to save all the parts. PAUL ERLICH
