Of course it does. As it would in a board room in that it reveals his weakness of character: he was neither honestly defiant, nor "conscientious " but rather chose to avoid ANY personal consequences to which he might have been held accountable. (I'll grant you that in certain board rooms that feat would be worthy of admiration.) Its unfair to speculate further since his number never came up due to his successful manipulation of the local draft board. Would he have hopped a bus to Montreal or submitted to induction? If inducted would he have survived basic training? Who knows? Foreign adversaries sizing him up would certainly toy with the possibilities in profiling the man. >Does his evasion on smoking marijuana have any effect on whether or > not he'll veto the tax cuts? Don't ask, don't tell. >Is Gennifer Flowers on the verge of being named an ambassador? Arkansas has ambassadors? Any way, if she had played her cards right she might have had a job at the Pentagon. >Would your staying at the White House affect relations with the Russian > government? Why should it? According to Aldritch they could have had open access to the Whitehouse. Apparently the Chinese did. >Are the alleged financial misdealings in the Whitewater case the cause > of major swings in the stock market. Good question. For sure a few jailhouse cell-gates have swung in the aftermath. >Does the quantity or quality of a Lewinsky blow job have a significant > effect on education policies? You mean at Agassiz? I think that was before the Lewinsky epoch in American history. >Richard Nixon authorized political espionage. If you want to accuse > Clinton of something of that magnitude, then the lines are open. No. You're right. Clinton is reputed to have far exceeded commonplace "political espionage" as we know it. Perjury, and obstruction of justice, are crimes of which the President himself is accused. He is not implicated by virtue of some responsibility he may have had for the actions of others, but for his own acts, an higher order of magnitude altogether. > Until then, next caller. I think the US House of Representatives Judiciary Committee is on the line. Will you accept the charges?
