Katy, Why do you feel you MUST figure out something "as quickly as possible"?? When you rush: 1) You add stress 2) You miss other qualities the person might have. If the sole purpose of a "relationship" is marriage, and you are interested in having sex with a person, why not get it over on the 1st date?? Now that would be "as quickly as possible"!!! On the other hand if you are looking for a "relationship" trust me, it is NOT going to happen within 3 dates!!! Sit back, and ENJOY the person, get to KNOW them, etc. The only thing rushing does is to make everybody feel uncomfortable. If you and I go out on a "date", do you want me to be thinking, "Not bad, nice size tits, nice ass, maybe a nice pussy. I wonder what she is like in bed?" or "God, what a dog, no wonder she is not married"; or would you like me to listen to you, to take an interest in you as a person, and not just take you as some sexual object or toy? Too many women write that THE most important thing to them in a relationship is friendship, yet these same women will not pursue a relationship after 3 "dates" unless they are sexually interested in the man -- that's not friendship, that's usury. I have gone out with many women, some are very sexy, some are not (dare I say "dogs") -- but I don't start out from the standpoint, "Gee, I wonder what she is like in bed", but rather because, regardless of looks, I find the PERSON to be INTERESTING. But here is the funny part, regardless of the sexual attractiveness of the person -- whether I have a sexual interest in the person or not -- I am NEVER ashamed to be seen with that person, or even take the person out on "dates" [though I really no longer know what that word means]. I have given up on trying to understand why a woman will never "date" someone who she considers a "friend", but will "date" a perfect stranger who she knows nothing about. This attitude drives me absolutely BANANAS. Maybe I need to adjust my thinking: The next time a woman and I go out on a "date", I will think, "Ah, SEX!!" and see how fast I can hustle her into the bedroom, and screw her brains out -- then dump her!!!!! She will have gotten what she came looking for, and treated in an appropriate manner. The problem is that such thinking runs against the grain of my philosophy and everything I have ever believed about relationships and how a woman SHOULD be treated. --
