Not that I want to recommend sticking with B news, but in all fairness
it should be pointed out that it did indeed do the "/" thing in the site
field, at least as of the initial release of 2.11 (~ 1986), and probably
earlier... - guess it was just "amazing coincendence" that both B and C
came up with the same syntax for it:-).
