You've got me ... are you not getting posts because you have
the !group in your sys file or because the group doesn't exist
anymore and your feed site isn't relaying them.... Or does the
group still exist?  Someone said they thought it didn't (which
was what prompted my query.)

For all I know I could put !alt.fnord in my sys file and it 
would not complain and when somebody actually created an alt.fnord
group I would not get it ... I guess the question was whether
the sys file was being verified for existing groups or not....
