I also encourage other news admins out there to look into this problem as an
example of an officially sanctioned act that will turn out to inconvienence
a lot of people. This is bogus, folks.
This would be WONderful, if everyone does it. But what if some sites drop
rec.music.synth and the traffic gets split? Is there anything that can be
done about this netwide?
It really has been a devastating month for the rec.music.synth crowd, and
it's sad to see the group dissipated by this incursion.
