Abacus Global Support

I've received the email below quite recently, addressed via
global.list@gwinnett.com. I've done nothing to cause my name
to be on that list, and, as the mail is simply a commercial,
I object to receiving it. In addition, even if I were
interested in the service (I am not), I would be concerned
about the email equivalent of mail fraud here.

I reponded to the message as follows:

More important, why am *I* on something called
global.list@gwinnett.com, and how did I get there? And how
do you get off on publishing straight-out commercial
advertisements on the Internet?

The next use of my name on a mailing list will cost you
$100, and each use after that will cost you $500.

Grandstanding probably won't work, of course. But I thought
perhaps the news admin community may know more about these
miscreants.

FYI, here's the mail from global, as received at my site:
