	This is a fine *suggestion*. In reality though, it would be
bad practice. Just in this effort alone, you would have had to have
had AT LEAST 5 group names in the subject line, which makes the
subject line evil to read. Besides, the subject line is there for a
pointer, not to tell people the proposal. It looks simple, but the
ramifications could be deadly.

	Well, All the evidence will be matters of opinion, not fact.
Although you are right that it is not necessarily a bad thing in
general, In this case, it seems to me Dave is being a spoiled brat.

|Under the circumstances, perhaps the best thing to do is to remember that
|guidelines have been carefully worked out by good and honest people
|(although improvements may nevertheless be possible).  Rich followed these
|guidelines faithfully, cooperating as best he knew how with the collective
|procedures of the net.  We all owe Rich a debt of thanks for this - good
|work is all too rare in this world.

|validity of the vote, and send out his own CFV and CFD to rename it
|back to r.m.synth.  I assume that Dave would do an even better job than

really couldn't have said it better myself.

	Well, your proposals are sane. :) I doubt anyone will toast
you, nor should they.
