However I think that a reply to the "part of the herd" is merited. Once. I don't think that I want to have a very long discussion with this person. During my younger years, acting like a morally upright person was definitely not being "part of the herd". The herd was the type of people who lived loosely, and spoke as this TarlaStar person speaks. I was one of only 2 boys in my class of 400 seniors with short hair. If this is being part of a herd, then herds are in danger of in-breeding. Choosing traditional morality makes one a leader, not a follower. It also makes for a much more pleasant life. > >Contrariwise, if they choose to group themselves with the dregs of > >society, I will use whatever authority I have to forbid and discourage > >that practice. > > You have no authority, you're a herdbeast. Kinds of people don't make a difference, kinds of lifestyles do. If you mean that people living a morally bankrupt life are going to rule the planet then I don't worry about that too much either. People who act in those ways are self-destructive, they do not rule, they die young. Unfortunately, they often take other young people to tragic early deaths also. As far as authority. I have authority in my home. That authority (which is what I was referring to) will be used, God willing, to raise my children to accept and propagate the kind of lives pleasing to themselves, to society, and to God. Dale
