We agree however what we might not agree on is controls. For 30 years we had controls and the events since 1973 prove that we need those controls again. We also need another source of energy. Many people can't afford their own heat right now. So we have LEAP? What is wrong with this? What kind of society do we have where people can't pay for lights and heating? There has to be, must be a solution and higher profits, higher pricing is not going to get it. Who occupies the White House certainly has nothing to do with this. Controls must come from congress, but the President can influence what they do. My issue with George B is that he is in the Oil Business. Frankly, I voted for Gore....on the issues and not because I didn't like one or the other. I am not upset that Bush won. There isn't anyone out there I really want to occupy the white house right now. Where/who is he? ....Ted "sediment boy" <palimpsest9823@my-deja.com> wrote in message news:92ih3k$kdo$1@nnrp1.deja.com... > I work in the oil business and guess what.
