I work in the oil business and guess what. It does not matter who is in the white house or congress as long as wall street is involved. So many people are looking for a quick buck that in order for a comapany to stay competative, they have to show solid performance on a quarterly basis. Anyway, sorry about the soapboxing but we Americans are REALLY spoiled by cheap undervalued energy. Get used to energy costs rising. Realistically, we wont'run out of oil, just out of cheap oil. There is sooooooo much oil out there, the problem is we keep having to go deeper and deeper to get it. Also, natural gas is virtually inexhaustable. You ever see an oil rig with a bright flame burning off of it? That's excess natural gas that the just burn off because there's no market for it. That market is starting to expand with these high gas prices. Oh, by the way I agree, name calling of Clinton is not an intelligent approach to anything but instead the refuge of a lazy mind, I am no clinton lover by any means but come on pal.
