Ah, now we are getting close to the smoking gun that makes the ShrubCo cabal
look like they are truly evil. Shrub tried to force Blanco into signing the
state over to him.
She balked, and Shrub punished her, and the state of Louisianna for her
impertinance.

You ( purposely?) fail to realize that THAT is what SchrubCo. had in
mind.....
it's starting to leak out. Did you know that when Shrub made his declaration
of a state of emergency in Louisiana, he didn't include Orleans or Jefferson
Parishes in that declaration? Why didn't he include what all the models
showed would be the most vulnerable areas?

Blanco asked for federal help, and got the promise of it BEFORE the
hurricane struck. ShrubCo. was simply trying to get command of Louisiana's
National Guard forces, thus taking ALL (since martial law had been declared)
of the law enforcement capabilities Blanco had. Shrub is a control
freak--the only problem is...he doesn't know what the hell he is doing.

He's incompetent.
