Bullshit. Pure and simple. I'm a card carrying NRA member
living the the hippy haven of Santa Cruz County. I'm no
advocate of gun control, wildly expanded social service or any
of the rest of that crap. Lots of people are leaving
California because they're tired of the stupid restrictions
that the politicians are voting in.

Santa Cruz county is happy to take your non-refundable application
fees for a concealed carry permit, but they'll be damned if they'll
issue one to anyone. Try getting a building permit in this county.
Good luck. And the same is true in other counties as well.

	What an incredibly bigoted opion.

When I moved out of state, I was happy to see that other that the
state I moved to had politicians that weren't so full of bullshit.
There it was possible to live in a place were there were bohemians
to didn't embrace every nutcase idea they came into contact with
without thinking about it first. I staunchly supported every
candidate I could that would help to maintain a decent quality
of life...and not I'm not a republic (which is a miracle considering
I grew up in Orange County)

Immigration is indeed a problem in California. Elsewhere in the
country, if you're a misfit, you get lynched or run out of town on
a rail or ostracized by your family and the neighbours all think
it's a good idea. In California, when the misfits started pouring
in, we didn't have the good sense to go out and lynch them like
everyone else in the nation did. Our loss.

And this is exactly what is happening. Why do you think the
Republicans won so big? Do you think it's because every Californian's
income suddenly increased by $100K per yer? No. It's because
Californians are so desperate for a change that they'll elect
anyone who promises to do something about runaway government.
	Even the Republicans.
