Hi folks!

Programming Operations, C-SPAN's utmost scheduling authority, claims it
will be showing "The California Gubernatorial Debate" this evening,
Thursday, October 29, beginning between 8:00 - 8:30 p.m California time.
 
With the two previous debate broadcasts carried on C-SPAN2, this airing,
carried on C-SPAN, will be the debate's third and final airing.

Please circulate this as an advisory only, mindful that C-SPAN may yet
again "bump" the debate at the last minute (as they did last Tuesday)

The debate was held at Chapman University's Argyros Forum, Lecture Hall
209, on Monday, October 12 at 6 p.m.  Chapman University is located at 333
N. Glassell St., Orange, CA.

Participating candidates (and parties) included*:

   � Nathan E. Johnson (American Independent Party)
   � Dan Hamburg (Green Party)
   � Steve W. Kubby (Libertarian Party)
   � Harold H. Bloomfield (Natural Law Party)
   � Gloria Estela La Riva (Peace and Freedom Party)

   * Note: The Reform Party does not have a gubernatorial
         candidate in this election.
