Let's give the rich more money. Mostly, this won't affect the poor. (since they are not rich) Some poor people will get jobs. Good. > How greedy are rich folk? It helps you if they can provide a job. (either they hire you for their business or buy a yacht from you) > Just remember to confuse people: > Somehow magically link flat tax with tax simplification even > though one doesn't have anything do to with another. The national sales tax is as simple as a tax can be. Consumers don't do _anything_. There are no forms at all. How can an exponential income tax be simpler than that? Tell us. > And sales tax somehow means not IRS. The govt will always have > tax collectors, renaming them seems like a waste of time to me. There are far fewer businesses than consumers. Since the national sales tax doen't require a form from every consumer, there will be much less paper wasted and much less money wasted collecting taxes.
