If there is a high probability that the mother's life would be threatened by giving birth (a condition which is very, very rare indeed) CPC's would not advocate giving birth. Some mothers, however, have been known to be willing to risk their own lives for the lives of their unborn children. CPC would not advocate one way or the other, as this is a life-for-life situation.
