Hard one, but let me see...I suppose, inspite of all the recent events to the contrary, we can call WWII and just war in that that world was about to fall prey to one, possibly two, powerful regimes bent on genocide. Gulf War part two: When Saddam was a friend of US foreign policy, he had an oppressive bent, but that didn't matter to the US: Saddam was their friend. Hell, they even gave him the intelligence and the WMD agents to kill some 8,000 Kurds, as well as several thousands of Iranians. (I guess at that time, the Kurds and the Iranians were bad to the US.) So, in the second Gulf War, the US not only calls Saddam an "enemy of humanity", but they say they ousting him to avenge the deaths of the Kurds and Shi'as he's killed. Just proves that US foreign policy is as two-faced as ever. And now, not only are the Sunnis the enemy insurgents, but all those victimized Shi'as have become enemies of the US. With all the modification of the truth going on here, one wonders is the Bush Administration thinks that everyone has short term memory like them. > > What is an 'unjust war'? Waged by evil devil people? I suppose in the minds of the Iraqi insurgents, they are waging a just war against an imperial power that wants nothing more than to slaughter them wholesale in the name of oil and Geo. W. Bush's monster ego. In that case, not enough Americans will die, but here's to their efforts. > > In article <20040412230750849-0600@news.telusplanet.net>, > shhh@dontaskdonttell.org says... >> >>In <iZIec.9092$2H4.6560@clgrps12> Oliver Wendell Jones wrote: >>> >>> Rooney's article missed the mark.
