"Thoughts" like this:

"But the true threats to stability and peace are these nations that
are not very transparent, that hide behind the-that don't let
people in to take a look and see what they're up to.
They're very kind of authoritarian regimes. The true threat is
whether or not one of these people decide, peak of anger,
try to hold us hostage, ourselves; the Israelis, for example,
to whom we'll defend, offer our defenses; the South Koreans."

A few?

In any case, it is precisely in those off-the-cuff moments when a
person must speak without a script that we can begin to get a gauge
of a person's intellectual powers.

I couldn't be more real. It is you how insist on ignoring clear
evidence and prefer to live in a partisan fantasy world.

Nope. I've never claimed, for instance, that other notable GOP
candidates like McCain, Dole, or even Poppy Bush were dimwitted,
even though the latter also had difficulties with public speech. I
didn't claim it because each of these fellows showed clear evidence
of intelligence and broad knowledge. The Shrub, as yet, has not.

If he does, I'll change my assessment.
