Maybe it was Euphoria, near Produce Row Cafe.  One of my old favorite
dance spots (Euphoria, that is). One of my old favorite local dance
bands, Upepo. . . . . . sweet reveries of yore.
I remember the Vortex because I couldn't go. I concur that it was held at
MacGiver Park, one of my old favorite swimmin' holes. That's all I
remember. Must've killed a few brain cells along the way, because it was
such an important issue at the time, I knew everything about it. All gone
now though.
