Assuming this is the same place I've been to, it's bLack hand gorge.  Named for 
some dark rock visible above an old railroad tunnel.  Supposedly shaped like
a hand.  I've seen it and I don't necessarily see the hand.  Though the 
gorge is BEAUTIFUL.  Note:  If you have small kids, be VERY careful.  There
is a lock there which you come up on quickly, and it's 20-30 foot depth is
deceptive.  I walked up to it thinking it was a trench (thinking it was
5 or six feet deep).  It's only when I walked right up and looked down that I
saw how deep it really is.  No safety rails either.  But I do recommend it too!
