MS Word 5.1 Problem

I am having a strange problem with MS Word 5.1 on my Performa 6115 CD.  
Sometimes when I launch it I am told that there is not enough memory, when I 
have maybe 5 Meg avaliable.  This seems to happen much more frequently when I 
have Aaron 1.1.2 running.  Any ideas what is going on?
