The next General Meeting of the National Capital Freenet (NCF)
Organizing Committee will take place Tuesday November 3, 1992. Here are
the details:
Date: Tuesday November 3, 1992
Time: 7:00pm.
Place: Auditorium
Ottawa Public Library Main Branch
120 Metcalfe St.
Ottawa.
Newcomers are welcome to attend and the meeting will begin with an
introduction to the Freenet concept, and a description of the current
status of the NCF. We will try once again to provide a live
demonstration of the pilot system that now exists.
Other items of business are getting information installed on the
Freenet, and nominations for the Board of Directors.
PLEASE NOTE: We are in the process of establishing the FreeNet project
and are not yet open for business from the general public. People who
wish to contribute to getting the project running are most welcome.
