WITHOUT PREJUDICE:
This will be my last posting on these groups because I have given up with
small computer firm, to which I won't be doing bussiness in the future.
1. Because of a select few assholes out there. You know who you are. I
have come to this dicision because of their questionable practices of
price padding of 3% for credit card purchases and the other practise of
charging 20% on defective product returns and other returns. I will only
do business with medium and large sized firms that have proven track
records. If you the small opperator would like live the life style of
Donald Trump, spend your money wisely. Because of this 5% of small firms
who may do this questionable practice. The other 95% of Small opperators
are punished for this questionable practice. Provincial law with have to
be changed so the 5% doesn't ruin the reputations of the other 95%.
2. As for Elgin Computers they are in this 5% and you should keep in mind
that now since this incident started they maybe kissing the backsides of
their exsisting clients to prove that they are in the other 95% of the
small opperators. If in future you see postings concerning Elgin
Computers, remeber that this maybe the result received incentives for
their alleged praise. This maybe what they call referral selling. This
practice is illegal in this province.
3. I feel sorry for the small opperator who is trying very hard to show
that he is just as good as the bigger ones, but the 5% rule comes in and
thus this barrior that cannot be breached. If I was in there shoes I
would form a association tosome what weed out the questionable ones.
I want to correct the part number on the barely legible reciept from
Elgin Computers dated 09-30-97 concerning the purchase of the diskdrive
in question. Change your ribbons more often.

Because of your actions Mr Patrick Fluery and his Legal Councels.
I have to now start punishing all of the small business opperators out
there in the market place. This is the result of you sir acting like an
ass over 42 dollars. I hope that now you have seen the light because of
you I cannot trust any small business owner at this time. I would rather
pay a few extra dollars and purchase from medium and large sized stores
that keep up there proven track records, buy giving outstanding service
and fair refund/exchange policies, without price padding for credit cards
and those 20% fees for returns of all types. This is to the small
opperators out there because of this incident you are now paying the
ultimate prize... Permanently lost customers. Myself and Mister Norland.
How many more do you have to lose before you wakeup and smell the coffee.
Mister Dillon before you call me a illiterate radical and other childish
attacks directed at myself and Mister Norland.... Look at the facts. You
have no one but yourself to blame for this entire fiasco. If you can't
conduct yourself professionally... Sell your assets and get out of this
business. This was an easy dicision to arrive at because you, the 5%.
Mister T. Dillon before accuse me of slander on my internet page at
http://home.istar.ca/~swiper/local.html. There is nothing of a slanderous
nature in that page, in fact it says nothing damaging at all. You have
put manufactured meanings and you have put words in my mouth. The enire
fiasco is was stemmed from a private message sent the Elgin Computers to
which I apologized for sending in the heat of the moment. This did not
concern the page in question to which they tryed to twist. Again Mister
Patrick Fluery and Miss O'Brien... Please accept my apologies for that
private message. I would ask you now kindly to remove it from your store
wall because it now holds no merrit. I now cannot trust you as a credible
place of business Mister Fluery proprietor of Elgin Computers because of
your unprofessional conduct. You have but to blame yourself for this
entire stupidity that has taken place. As you as well Mister T. Dillon.
Note:
I am not asking for support of my page on the net but all I am
asking is that you teach these business men what it means to distroy any
trust in small business opperators by taking your purchases to medium and
large sized stores that prove themselves through professional conduct. I
am never going to trust any small opperator because of that 5% who can't
conduct them a professionally.
I will now ignore messages sent privatly and leave this news
group permantly, With this thought... Was this nessary? Are your denials
of this incident proving that you are trust worthy? An apology that
requires no effort would clear up this entire mess. I think that you
would rather loose your livelihood before you would make such an attempt.
I have apologized for my mistake in sending that private message. Please
sir prove yourself trust worthy by clearing up this miscomunication
quickly so that we may move on with our lives. I now have forgotten this
incident somewhat but the fact remains that I now cannot trust small
stores at all.
Yours Trully
Scott Wiper.
