Elgin Computers is NOT Ottawa Computers. Lori is an employee, but was the owner of Ottawa Computers. She did NOT go bankrupt, but made a business decision to work with EC. Warrantees are honored by EC - and they REPLACE without any fee! Scott first sent email to them saying he purchased the drive from Ottawa Computers. The fact is that Scott did NOT purchase the drive from EC. He made slanderous comments about Lori, and race-hate comments about people from the middle-east. As you could clearly see from posts about EC 'PRIOR' to Scott's, EC is reputable and Lori has a reputation for treating her clients very well. Don't let one illiterate effect your opinions about a company with a good reputation for treating their customers right. They replace defective components - they do not charge any restocking fee. Has ANYONE here EVER been charged a restocking fee by EC???? No. Scott will pay the price for slander. Most likely, it would not be in EC's best interest to comment publicly about an illiterate radical, but to deal with it on a professional level. As an honest business owner, I would be concerned about this type of slander, and would immediately contact a lawyer. I stand firmly behind Elgin Computers in this matter. They have given no reason for anyone to treat them poorly. Think about it...how would you deal with an irrational illiterate?
