You have experience on the web? ok. Assume a newbie turns up and makes some
sort of naive but totally incorrect statement only to get totally humiliated
by someone just for fun.....? Will they ever come back? There are 200,000
Ozemail users out there - we see only a small fraction in here. It isn't going
to increase if people don't feel comfortable.

When all is said and done, this IS a user group. Out on the general net it
might be acceptable to bully someone, but not in here. Users drop in for all
sorts of reasons, connect problems, just for a chat, queries of all sorts...
If they come in and find a bully is being allowed to say whatever he likes to
them with no comeback from other users - they might think it's acceptable
behaviour and just not come back! As long as there is someone doing it they
have to be hounded - but obviously not out altogether.  Rod for example, Rod
is very knowledgeable when it comes to computers and other tech stuff and it
would be a shame to lose him. And when all is said and done he IS a character
and we need characters or it all gets boring.

Even so, sooner or later he has to be made to realise there is a minimum
standard of acceptable behaviour in here and whenever he steps over the line
he's going to get jumped on.
