Since ~mid-August, the Revco at the corner of Forbes/Murray
has had a foul odor of sewage that seems strongest at the
spot in the store where soda/chips are sold.

The store manager told me that the sewer system is backed up,
and that they've been this way for quite some time. He said
that the best he's been able to do is to open the front door
to dissipate the odor somewhat. 

The district manager at the Revco chain said that he knows
about the problem and that he's been trying to get someone in
to fix it for several weeks, but that he's been unsuccessful
in his attempts.

The Allegheny Health Department was unaware of the problem,
despite the fact that Mr. Samson indicated that he had met
(or, at the time, WAS meeting) with representatives from that
group.

Anyway, if you've noticed this (and even if you haven't and
would like to help), please contact any of the following
offices and voice your opinion. This problem should not be
allowed to continue...I'm hoping that if enough of us voice
opinions, something positive will happen.

I've been unable to find an e-mail address for any of the
managers at Revco, but they do have a Web page, which says
that comments about the Revco corporation can be addressed to
the webmaster (webmaster@revco.com).
