JIPTA (Job in Partnership and Training something) is a program for
City residents to provide summer jobs for high school and college age
youth (16-21). The program is for youth from low/middle income
families (this is determined individually for each candidate's
situation). In the past (from what I am told), there have been more
jobs than candidates, so anyone is encouraged to apply.
