Phone conversion fraud

On my most recent home phone bill, I notice that someone had changed my
long distance carrier from AT&T to Sprint. After tracing down Bell Atlantic
to Sprint, I reached a reseller "Key Communications", which of course does
not have a service representative available to explain what is going on.

I do remember talking with a phone service person about a month ago, but
she lead me to believe that she was selling an add on severice for AT&T.
The word Sprint was not mentioned. I suppose this was the Key Communication
representative.

Has this happened to you? This seems like at best dishonest and at worst
illegal behavior. I'm only out $10 in switching fees, but I'm quite
irritated by the whole thing. Besides sending angry letters to all involved
is there anything else that I can do?
