Yeah but thats retroactive, they need to take a *proactive* stance, and let their _new_ accounts know _up front_ what is and isnt acceptable behaviour. They gotta tell them that sending an ad to *.singles, or *.personals, or *.anything, for that matter, is a big time no-no, and shouldnt be done! Makes the user AND the provider look bad. However, I did go overboard. I admit it. I accept full responsibility for it. I made MYSELF look bad, in the extreme. Nothing I can do about it now, the send button has been pushed. So flame me in mail, lets not continue the thread. Unlike others, MY return address is real. Use it to vent, and lets move on. The mailed reply *I* sent to the user is undeliverable, so, it would seem that was a forgery, also. Sorry Netcom, I jumped the gun in blaming you in this instance. >I know, I've instigated a few of these in another ng where the spamming >and the forging go on forever. There are ISPs who don't give a shit >(vivanet.com and portal.com to name two) and will never do anything about >spamming or forging posts. Wash your mouth out, willya? Folks, theres a lesson here. My extreme apologies for going overboard, I've had a hard week, and had an **exceptionally** ugly evening the details of which are not important. Lets just say the lesson is, sometimes its best to just go straight to bed... That spam was the last straw, and I lost it, big time. [gargling with Lysol]
