Actually, being polite to netcom.com gets you much further.  At
least they will either tell the user to delete the posts or they
will take away their accounts.  I know, I've instigated a few of
these in another ng where the spamming and the forging go on 
forever.  There are ISPs who don't give a shit (vivanet.com and
portal.com to name two) and will never do anything about spamming
or forging posts.  Portal.com users will forge netcom.com headers
so be careful who you're talking to.  

And, if you get no response from a provider, send a copy of the
post and their response, if sent, to alt.current-events.net-abuse
and tell the folks there about the provider.

These suggestions will not get *your* account taken away and will
help your blood pressure too, Rich.  Wash your mouth out, willya?
