Of course! That's why you have to increase your chances. |From another perspective, the people I've met when I wasn't "trying" are the |ones that have turned into lasting friends or even relationships. The ones I've met that way ended up breaking my heart almost every time. |>My personality type has kept me hidden behind a computer for too long. |Welcome to the net Sue! ;) I've been in the same trap myself and now I |working on getting outside and exploring more of the real world. How have you been going about it? |>I'm convinced that the most interesting guys are on |>the internet. |Why thank you! ;) Some *less* interesting people can be found there too (not you, of course!) [etc.] |>You don't get anything without trying. |I believe that the effort comes after you've met someone and not in the |meeting. It's building a relationship, working through the differences and |continuing to love each other through it all that takes the effort and |commitment! Well, obviously that's the hard part. Except for meeting someone, that's the hard part too. And getting past the third date, that's the really hard part. Or making it past six months... For me, the hardest part of all is finding someone who inspires me. If I could do that, I would have all the incentive I need to get past the other hurdles. It's especially hard when I still have feelings for someone else. Sue
