|funny, but I always thought that when you met someone it was possibly by
|chance and that that is how love comes into a relationship.

Hey, that's how you win the lottery too. But you have to buy a ticket!

[etc.]
|I have found myself someone but quite by accident and I didn't
|have to try.

Well, isn't that nice. There's something kind of annoying about getting
advice that says, in effect, "Gee, I got lucky, so you will too!"

|I understand the use of personal ads but come on.."go out
|meet people make yourself known" if that is not your personality then
|don't do it.

My personality type has kept me hidden behind a computer for too long.

|If you live at the library you may find someone there. If
|you are an internet freak you might find someone there.

I am, and I might! :-) In fact, I've met a few people through
alt.personals already. I'm convinced that the most interesting guys are on
the internet.

|Or you could be
|like me and just have an awesome man fall into your lap without you
|knowing it.

Listen, the only time an awesome man ever fell into my lap was when I
*was* looking for him, at a singles' party, of all things. Okay, he didn't
actually *fall* into my lap, he was sitting next to me and I got up and
almost tripped over him. (The first words I said to him were "Sorry, I
forgot you were there!")

|Come on, love is out there for everyone but if you go around
|looking for it I am sure that it won't hit you.

You don't get anything without trying.
