I hate to disrupt the Great Expectations Bashathon prematurely, (I was
waiting for someone to blame GE for the Kennedy assassination) but
this is getting silly.

Great Expectations, like many health clubs, offers incentives for
members to refer other members.  As Larry guessed:

So, Mr. Binko, you were probably sold out by an infiltrator in your 
workplace.

Some of you people *clearly* don't get out much.
