DOES EVERY WOMAN PLAY HEAD GAMES???

Look,

All I want is to meet a woman who will not play head games and is
sincere about developing a long-term relationship with an intelligent,
attractive, strong and loving man.

I've posted before and gotten lots of replies from women who seem to
be either toying around with personal ads, or who are so screwed up
that they do not know how to open their minds or hearts to anyone.

It doesn't matter much where you live, although I'd like to meet a
Florida woman, because I am buying a house there in January.

I am a complex person who like a simple life: watching TV late at
night; taking frequent road trips for fun and adventure; spending
Saturday mornings making love.

I enjoy theatre, flea markets, drives to nowhere and generally just
being with the person I love.

If you are looking for a guy who will shoot you straight, love you
long and just be your best friend, please write to me. If you want to
join me in Florida after the first of the year, that's cool. If you
have somewhere else you'd like to live, let's talk about it. I'm free
and open. (The SF Bay area is nice)

I'm considered very talented and attractive and I am sure you will not
be disappointed. I am intensely loyal, passionate and I don't screw
around on the woman in my life. I'll give everything I have of myself
and my possessions to the right woman.

My preferences have always been toward slender, light haired women,
though there may be someone out there who can ignite a spark that does
not fit that category and I'm more concerned with the content than the
cover, anyway.

Due to my past experience with personals postings, I am reluctant to
respond to anonymous emailers.

If you have a long list of specific preferences about religion,
politics, books read, foods preferred or that kind of surface stuff,
then I probably would not fit your picture.

If you want to build a lasting, loving relationship from the soul, and
are ready to give it your best shot, then drop me a line.

You can be anywhere from 20 to 50 - I'm somewhere in the middle of
that range, myself and my life has shown me that age is not a factor
that should be given that much credence, anyway. I've known 20 year
olds who act like 50 and 50 year olds who act like teenagers. I'd
just like to find someone who is young enough in mind and heart to act
like a kid sometimes, but who is mature enough to know what it means
to be in an exclusive relationship.

The woman who wins my heart will enjoy a life of love and laughter and
will have found the best friend she will ever know.

Please write.

The simple fact is that all genders play "games" with other genders. Each
gender does not call what it does a game, of course, only the other
genders do that. Lack of communication and understanding at all levels
gives rise to much of the hassle.

So you are *both* right. And you are *both* wrong. And you are *both*
correct in complaining.

The correct answer is "yes, so whats your point!"

Everyone plays head games if you use a wide enough definition of a head
game. Every time you modify your behavour so someone will like you arent
you hiding your true nature? Isnt that a dishonesty that could be called
by someone a head game? If you find the right partner you will not see
what they do as a head game. When its the wrong person it will look like
a head game. What you see depends to a great deal on how you look at things.

They all wanted just one thing? Really? Don't any of the guys go
after that other thing? Gee... as for me, I like all of the naughty
parts :)

And wearing out that exclamation point key as well.. <grin>

The fact is that some people (M & F) enjoy playing games with
people's minds. But a lot of the time, it's not a game at all,
it's just a lack of communication. 98.999% of problems in
any relationship are caused by a lack of communication.

One other thing to mention is your choice in dates. Mind you, I
don't know you at all, but if EVERY person you've gone out with
in the last few months was just looking to get you into bed,
then if I were you, I'd be seriously evaluating how I went out
looking for dates, it sounds like something's wrong somewhere.

Anyway, look on the bright side, if all these guys were just
looking to get you to sleep with them, and, when you told them
otherwise, you never heard from them again.. Good! :)

I second that. There is something wrong with your own persona if this is a major focus of your
relationships. Yes, sex can really be good, but only in balance with the rest of a relationship.
Sure, it can even be a *big part* of a relationship, but the love/caring/communicating part
better be *a really big part* to equal.

In life, timing is everything, and if the "time isn't right," you just end of feeling more empty
and alone. Yes, you may have to learn this "pain" for yourself, but don't repeat the lesson!

Hence, your post in ba.singles. Thats, SF _B_ay _A_rea singles.
Good move. Success is certain, I'm sure.

Yes, well, the facet of your personallity that learned about usenet
needs to surface. You're blowing chunks into the wrong newsgroup.

At times I wonder too... being a profesional male who has not played any game for
the last so many years have been single for quite some time. While all my
aquantances are getting out of that single syndrome I am trapped in this bottomless
pit. May be in a decade I would have learnt the sad way that it does pay to play
with the opposite sex from time to time.

There are no two individuals alike, making it difficult to
generalize about behavior. Communicate yourself and you won't
be feeling unspoken expectations. It's perfectly alright to
accept invitations of time shared, or dinner out, or whatever
as long as the two people understand up front what the strings
are, if any. But don't expect anything simply because of money
expended, by either side.
Lay your cards on the table, if your gifts have conditions.

Your blanketing the whole world based on narrow experience. And your

I suggest you let all your companions know your outlines up front.
As I would suggest with anyone. No one owns another, body or soul,
no matter what price they've paid. Generosity and gift giving does
occur out of love of heart, without payback implicated. So whatever
you are or want, communicate. Speak your lanquage.

That's your reality. Its a wonder you've found anyone to relate to.
Do you keep score with every relationship in your life?

Expectations are the source of much agony. Practice love that has
no expectation. Non-conditional.

$ is not the determining factor of content.
No one has rights over another.
Your solution is simplistic. Communication works better.

That's Good!

No harm intended, I think your play on words was kinda fun, and had a
