I talked with 3com and they will have STAC compression in
their 3com Impacts by around May 96.  

Zyxel may change to STAC at a later date... its a firmware
upgrade possibility.  They are waiting to see what the
market heads for.

The rumor mill would seem to indicate things are leaning
slightly towards STAC compression for ISDN products.

In any event, you WILL have to make sure that your
providers ISDN routers support the same compression 
scheme that you do.

Also, a Hayes ESP may be in order to handle the high speed
serial rates.

Or, you can go with a network like ISDN card.  But thats
another topic :)
