The world bureau will only recognize one association from each country.
Les Scuts was given a charter directly by B.-P. before the formation of
the World Bureau. So they feel they have a legitimate right to exist
seperate from Scouts Canada. However, the rules do apply and Les Scouts
have one or two represetnatives on the National Council of Scouts Canada
which does the liaison work with the World Bureau.

Les Scouts operate groups across canada including some in Alberta and
Saskatchewan. They had a field worker in Manitoba at one time.
