I don't know much about the Scout side of things, but there is
for sure a separate Guiding group. They used to be the "Guides
Catholiques de Canada" or something, but I think they changed their
name. (I don't know much more than what we learned one night at a Guide
meeting.) I think that not to long ago the two groups (Guides Canada and
the Quebec Guide Organization) made some sort of agreement, and are under
the same National Commisioner now. I may be totally wrong here, but if
anyone knows what's really happening over in Quebec with Guiding, feel
free to let me know!
