A Page fault is related to Virtual Memory. Basically, the operating
system uses part of your Hard Disk to Swap Least used RAM in and out.

A page fault per see is not a problem. However, if the OS can't find the
pages it swapped out, then this is a problem.

I would looking at the Hard Disk and Controller. What are they ?

If it is a cached, controller, try disabling the cache.
