	I strongly agree with the above statement.  The proposition helps
to generate a witch hunt of sorts in which many innocent/legal Mexican/Americans
will get hurt.  The strongest yell for Pop. 187 has to get 'illegal' people
off of the goverment teat, so to speak.  If that is the problem that worries
teh supporters of Prop. 187, then why not FIX that govt. teat so that it works
'correctly', rather than making a race/country specific attack.  Alot of the
talk about what has gone on before I feel is moot.  There are winners and losers
of war, and after all is said and done you msut press on.  It is disturbing to
hear people bringing up heritage as if it has soem bearing on the issue.
Heritage/race should have no bearing.
