Mr. J. R. Grinter and I have been working on solving
the problem of finding the appropriate bay area ISP
for Mr. L. Torvalds (you might call Grinter the send-off
crew, and I the welcome wagon, from a geographical
perspective.)

Sadly, at this time I can not reccommend my own ISP,
Best Communication Corporation, of Mountain View, because
while they appear to carry my Linux PPP TCP packets,
they do not yet carry my Linux PPP UDP or ICMP packets.
Perhaps this message will prompt them to rectify the situation.

Who can reccommend a south bay ISP which accepts Linux
(both Intel and Macintosh -- http://www.mklinux.apple.com
-- and my personal preference is MIPS servers, although
HP, Intel, PPC, and SPARC will do, too, I suppose. I will
summarize e-mail replies to the pertinent newsgroups.

Mr. J. R. Grinter writes:
