Hi folks,

This is just a short note to let everyone know that I have established a venue
for the discussion of ecology, evolution, and other branches of "organismal"
biology on LambdaMOO.

It is called the Ecology Study Centre, and I envisage it as a place where
biologists can meet in a quiet setting and discuss issues that are of interest
to them.

To get to LambdaMOO,

telnet lambda.parc.xerox.com 8888

If you don't have a character, you can log in as a Guest. Once you have logged
on, type @go #36419   and you will teleport straight there. If you haven't
been to LambdaMOO before, there is a tutorial, and loads of on-line help.

I welcome any questions or comments that you may have.
